All of us know about inflation; increasing prices in Metros and also cities like Bangalore (Officially not a metro yet, and I don’t know why) and of course the most common analogy, which our aunt’s quote i.e.local auto meter to the raising prices of vegetables. However, I doubt how many of us have experienced the exponential growth of school fees inBangalore. As I experienced this in Bangalore, I keep referring it back to this city.Otherwise, I am sure it is the case of all Metro’s in India.
It happened few months back while I got the esteemed opportunity of selecting a kindergarten for my niece to start her education. My sister and her kid had just relocated from Malaysia and they sought for my help in finding a good school in
Bangalore. Coming from a consulting background and vendor selection and analysis being my forte, I accepted it readily. Now was my chance to visit few renowned schools in the East part of
Bangalore. I would keep the school names anonymous but will tell you the facts.

Last few weekends were the happiest and most memorable days of my life. I just can’t explain in words how much I have learnt, groomed and matured myself as a person in those few weekends. All the credit goes to YOURS TRULY.
Oh, by now you must be wondering what is “YOURS TRULY”? YOURS TRULY is the second theatre group in India to practice playback style of theatre (Whose line is it anyway types). Oh ho… Again a jargon !! What is playback style now?
Playback Theatre is an original form of improvisational theatre in which audience or group members tell stories from their lives and watch them enacted on the spot.

Talking to the wind, you blazed my mind
At a glance, I knew you were of my kind
Then, my life was black and blank,
I craved every minute to reclaim past clock,
I worked my way to bridge the Life’s crack,
However, I knew not that my life’s stood on a single pivot plank…
Then we met in a strange kind,
It was one of those intense interviews you would always have in mind
It all began from a message; Message from my heart
I wish angels could tell me ahead whats in stock;
Time cruised with a trance score behind
With amazing earnest we walked hand in hand
Many a times I still marched alone;
Giving me a feeling of super natural clown
Confused, Convinced we spent a lot of time
Made no effort to discover the true value dime
Just drew a heart and called it “valentine”
Truly, the kernel in me was covered with a shell of ice
Illusion is what I lived in, the “wanna be” in me always kicked in;
Dreamt of “something”, numb to realize what is actually coming
You made me unleash few unpleasant facts of life
Somebody rightly said -
Life is what that happens when you are busy planning “something” else
Never had I thought life could be so bland
You have taken the air out of my gland
Talking to my mind, This time you blazed away
Leaving me gazed you breezed away

Crawling my life, Harmless offcourse
Stale to death sleepless remorse
In my regular blues I wake up
To hear the death callout
Clueless of the Omen, You know what?
I am lost in the Traffic of the “Thar”
There I am in joy, future unknown
Thinking life eternal defying the cornerstone
With everything coming my way
Lucky I am, “Am I lucky thought the Me man”
There I fumble clueless of the Omen, You know what ?
Wake up from the dreams to see the ogre,
Lost for words I call “Monster, Monster”
Now I see the cloud of dust raising high,
Revving engines planate all the landscape
The green is gone, all I see is sand
Ogre nibbling the “Me Man”
Me Man, Me Man call a feeble voice
To see the rising of pious parasite
I am frozen in the desert sand
Clueless of the Omen, You know what?
The Me man goes on…………………….

I steal the show wherever I march,
Glitter the talent in the sky of dark patch
Only few know the art to catch
I am the most viscous ever thought
ME, my versions rule the world
None on earth has ever endured
I am ME the thought is scary
Dare a dream, you are no vary
Somebody asked “Whats the greatest innovation of mankind”
I say answers are many, but the “crux is only MONEY”
ME rules the birth and death process,
Confused and amused “How?” asked the Innocent toddler
I said, “Pray to GOD you will get an answer”
Instantaneously the kid had a moulder
I echo the voice of life, said a teenager,
Friends & faith define my future,
There is nothing that can stop ME now
However, forgot the echo in the essense of Life
“ME is energy, People are my muscles”
Called a white-collar black coat senator
Guffaw on face, look in his eyes
I said “Flex the ME and build the muscle”
“I, ME makes no sense” preached a saint
7*3 is dark within, there is no faint
Tombs are immortal, need ME to build
If not ME then the eagles grin
Travelling through the high, had lost my way
Sought for grim on my judgement day
Verdict was loud “You go to hell”
With a chuckle “Hell or heaven where ME is there”
